DESCRIPTION:What’s Talk Club all about\, then? \nAt its heart\, Talk Club is simple: it’s a safe space for men to talk and listen. No pressure\, no judgement\, no one trying to fix you—just real blokes having real conversations about how they’re doing. And it all kicks off with one question:\n“How are you? Out of 10?” \nWe’ve found that giving your mental fitness a score out of 10 is a surprisingly effective way of checking in with yourself—and with each other. From there\, we talk about what’s going on\, what we’re grateful for\, and what we’re doing to stay mentally fit. Then we check back in at the end to see if our numbers have shifted. Spoiler alert: they usually do. \nNow\, we’re lucky to have three top-notch Talk Club Captains steering the ship in Hastings: Trav\, Maz\, and Dave. Each one brings their own flavour\, stories\, and lived experience—but they all share one mission: to hold space for lads to feel safe\, heard\, and supported. Whether you’re a first-time talker or a seasoned listener\, you’re welcome here. \nTalk Club isn’t group therapy. It’s a gym for the mind. A talking group\, not a therapy group. It’s about keeping ourselves mentally fit and looking out for each other. And yeah\, sometimes there’s tea. Sometimes there’s banter. But always\, there’s honesty. \nCome along. Check in. Talk. Listen. And maybe leave feeling one or two numbers better than when you walked in.

Whether you’re coming along for a full breakfast\, a hot drink\, or just the company\, the vibe is relaxed\, friendly\, and free of judgement. \nThere’s no pressure to talk – but plenty of opportunity to do so. Some conversations are deep. Some are silly. And some are about absolutely nothing at all. And that’s the point: sometimes\, just showing up and being around other men who “get it” is enough.
